Overview

The Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 series combines eco-solvent printing and contour cutting in a desktop device. It is intended for stickers, labels, small-format graphics and printable textile transfer films. Maximum printing and cutting width is 480 mm; loaded media width is 150–515 mm. BN-20A uses CMYK inks. BN-20 configurations add either white or metallic silver to CMYK. These are alternative ink configurations, not colours available simultaneously on every model. The ink and media combination is selected for the specific job. Textile applications require a separate heat-transfer stage after printing and cutting.

Manufacturer

Roland DGRoland DG

Roland DG manufactures wide-format printers, integrated print-and-cut systems, cutting plotters, engravers and milling equipment. These equipment groups serve sign production, textile decoration, product personalisation and industrial applications. When choosing equipment, first distinguish between printing alone, printing with cutting, and material processing through engraving or milling. An integrated print-and-cut system performs both operations in one machine, while a separate cutting plotter provides an independent workstation. The appropriate model depends on the material, workpiece format and planned production process.
