Manufacturer code: XT-640Texart XT-640Discontinued

Overview

The discontinued Roland Texart XT-640 prints dye-sublimation transfer paper for sportswear, polyester fabrics and soft signage. It is a transfer-paper printer, not a complete textile-finishing line: a separate heat-transfer stage is required. Maximum print width is 1,615 mm. The machine accepts media 259–1,625 mm wide, with rolls up to 40 kg and 210 mm in diameter. Resolution reaches 1,440 dpi, depending on the mode. The manual lists CMYK and two alternative eight-colour configurations: CMYK with light cyan, light magenta, orange and violet; or CMYK with fluorescent yellow, fluorescent pink, orange and violet. These are different ink setups, not one combined ink set. This page is a reference for an older model and does not imply new-machine stock.

    Roland DGRoland DG

Roland DG manufactures wide-format printers, integrated print-and-cut systems, cutting plotters, engravers and milling equipment. These equipment groups serve sign production, textile decoration, product personalisation and industrial applications. When choosing equipment, first distinguish between printing alone, printing with cutting, and material processing through engraving or milling. An integrated print-and-cut system performs both operations in one machine, while a separate cutting plotter provides an independent workstation. The appropriate model depends on the material, workpiece format and planned production process.
