Overview

The Roland VersaSTUDIO GS2-24 cuts adhesive vinyl for signs, window and vehicle graphics, and heat-transfer vinyl for textile decoration. It is a cutter, not a printer. Paired with a separate printer, it can contour-cut labels and stickers using printed crop marks. It accepts material 50–700 mm wide, with a maximum cutting width of 584 mm. Speed adjusts from 10–850 mm/s and blade force from 30–500 gf. Select the blade and settings for the material and detail level; maximum travel speed is not finished-job throughput. USB and Ethernet connect the machine to an existing workstation. CutStudio supports cutting-file preparation. The stated cutting area of up to 25 m does not guarantee the same accuracy over that entire length: registration depends on printing, material and feeding conditions. A floor stand is optional.

Roland DGRoland DG

Roland DG manufactures wide-format printers, integrated print-and-cut systems, cutting plotters, engravers and milling equipment. These equipment groups serve sign production, textile decoration, product personalisation and industrial applications. When choosing equipment, first distinguish between printing alone, printing with cutting, and material processing through engraving or milling. An integrated print-and-cut system performs both operations in one machine, while a separate cutting plotter provides an independent workstation. The appropriate model depends on the material, workpiece format and planned production process.
